It’s Spring Break time, and it sounds like we all need it. USU has theirs this week and the high schools have theirs within the next month, which means campus is empty, airports are packed, flight ticket prices are up, and there’s a party every night.
For anyone planning on leaving the country and need their passport, remember to resolve any tax debt you may have. If you owe a serious amount of money to the IRS, the state is required to deny the application or renewal of your passport, and may even limit your ability to travel if you have a current passport. To resolve any tax issues, you may either pay the required amount immediately or create a payment plan or compromise with the IRS.
