Most everyone likes to customize their spaces. Sometimes it’s for aesthetic, such as taping vintage movie posters all over the walls or painting different colors inside the kitchen drawers. Other times it’s for functional purposes, like making sure computer files are organized by date or adding more shelves to a desk to organize workpapers.
With the newer versions of QuickBooks, you can customize the interface to best suit your needs and preferences. To create your own layout, or recreate the layout of previous versions, simply go to the Edit tab, click on Preferences and then Desktop View. You can also customize your Icon Bar with the links that you use the most. To do this, go to the View tab and click on Customize Icon Bar.
